"SHIKSHA ABACUS ACADEMY"

is in to imparting education of the ancient Chinese methodology of solving arithmetical problems called ABACUS in Gurgaon from last 14 years,
The academy is providing services online and class room based.

Introduction

  • Abacus is a ancient Chinese tool and is still widely used in place of the calculator in china.
  • In each rod of the abacus, there are four beads below the beam and one bead above the beam.
  • Each bead below the rod has the value one (1) and each bead above the rod has the value five (5)


Course details

  • It starts with simple addition and subtraction on the abacus and subsequently they will move on to larger numbers
  • After constant practice in a structured manner on the abacus, the beads are formed in the mind and the children can start calculating mentally without abacus. This process is called “imagery” or “visualization and is a “Right brain function”
  • The children then go on to learn multiplication, division and decimals.
  • On completing the course, the children apart from being extremely proficient in all 4 basic operations, also exhibit remarkable increase in brain development and accuracy.

After successful completion of 6 Basic levels a child is able to calculate mentally a 10 rows of double digit numbers addition and subtraction together.
